I have been looking for a reason to buy some feedsack prints for a new quilt. They do not really fit into the aesthetic of the quilts I am currently making and designing so a side project has been just the fix.
I joined the Old Red Barn Co. Quilt Along and loaded up on these twelve lovely little prints. I am probably on the tail end of these being hip but I love them anyway. I also love the fact that these are reproduction prints from the 1930s that have a bit of historical significance. It is hard to believe that fabric printed like this was once packaging for flour or chicken feed.
